Hosted by California State University Long Beach, College of Business Administration, this competition had attracted over thirty teams from some international institutions like California State University, San Diego State University, Iowa State University and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology to compete in the event. The Business School team “Linker Ltd.” represented by Guo Shumei, Ning Jiaxin, Yan Huishi and Liang Zhiying, won the first place of “Outstanding Performance” and the first place of “Outstanding Report” in this competition.

The ICBSC is the world’s longest running and most comprehensive business competition. Up to now, 53 international competitions have been successfully held.  Teams of students, in a simulated real-world competition, take over the management of a simulated or virtual company and compete for best performance. Students work out business proposals as well as annual projections and report to “the Board”. This competition aims at imparting competitors the ability of employing their acquired business knowledge, in a simulated environment and running companies virtually.
