Recently, STU Business School received a notification from Business Graduates Association (BGA) that Business School has been granted a BGA membership.
BGA is an international membership and quality assurance organization, founded in 1967, comprising the world's leading business schools. BGA is focused on increasing the impact of business schools on students and communities, playing a greater role in the professional and personal growth of students, and developing a new generation of socially responsible leaders. In 1983, the BGA established a certification program to make the MBA as a brand to ensure standards were maintained, and it was renamed the MBA association (AMBA) in 1987.
Joining BGA is an important measure for the Business School of STU to accelerate the implementation of the development strategy of "entering the mainstream, creating characteristics, penetrating into the local area and reaching the world". It is an important step to promote the international professional certification, also is significant for promoting the discipline construction, curriculum development, education quality, international exchange and cooperative research, improving the status and influence of the business school at home and abroad, and promoting the discipline to go international.
Previously, STU Business School has joined the Association of Asia-pacific Business Schools (AAPBS), European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME), the Association to Advance Collegiate School of Business International (AACSB) and Association of BRICs Business Schools (ABBS) and other international mainstream business education alliance, and obtained official certification of EFMD professional certification System (EFMD Program Accreditation System, the EPAS), also has fully integrated into the international business and management education network.
