On the evening of May 7, sponsored and organized by the Communist Youth League Committee of Shantou University and Shantou University Student Union, the graduation concert was successfully held in the auditorium. This graduation concert attracted a lot of audience by its concerns of public welfare and wonderful content.
At this time, many excellent campus singers were invited, including eight graduated singers like Li Shang, eight non-graduate singers like Zhang Xuan and the mysterious guests, the graduated student of 2015, the champion of the 21st top ten campus singers contest, Zeng Wei.
As for the singer, the graduation concert was totally different from the top ten singers competition. It was more like a stage where they could express their love and memories. On the stage, all the singers sang passionately. Besides, different music styles like rock and chorus deeply impressed the audience.
Actually, what resonated the audience is their love to the school. For most graduate singers, this concert may be their last concert in STU. The four years in school turned into the beautiful melody in the auditorium.
As for the non-graduate singers, they also had different feelings. The school time was still long for them. But looking at the senior schoolmates who would leave the school, they also felt sad about this. They expressed the most sincere blessings to them by singing.
It was an unforgettable experience for Zeng Wei. He was still full of the love to music and the miss to Shantou University.
Different people had different feelings to this graduation concert. The students expressed their own feelings of graduation and youth on WeChat and microblog.
Public welfare was the main feature of this graduation concert, which was supported by the teachers and students. The tickets were assigned to the audience by two forms, one was lottery, and the other was entity sale. All the profits would be devoted to the Firefly Charity Foundation to help the villagers in Jiedong leprosy rehabilitation village in Jiedong.
This graduation concert not only provided a wonderful music event for the audience, but also let more people know about the leprosy rehabilitation village and make contributions to the public welfare program, which made the concert become more meaningful.
