STU students got the first prize of the National 3D Competition

 

From July 20 to 24, the finals of the National 3D Competition Elite League was held in Kelamayi. With the instruction of the professor, Chen Kerong and Chen Jingle participated in the competition on behalf of their own teams. Finally, the robot program of Chen Kerong’s team won the first prize, and the mold system program of Chen Jingle’s team got the third prize.

 

The National 3D Competition focuses on 3D digitalization and innovation, trying to promote the integration of manufacture and education by linking industry, government, manufacture and education together.

 

Since 2008, the National 3D Competition has been held successfully for ten years, and it is getting more and more attention. According to the statistics, there are over 600 universities and 1000 enterprises to take part in the competition every year, and the number of entries accumulated over 7 million. A multitude of excellent programs and teams have attracted much attention. Thanks to its active role, technologies and talents are playing more and more important roles in the industries, and the cooperation between the government, manufacture and education is becoming closer and closer. The National 3D Competition has become an important competition with wide influence, and it is regarded as the “Maker Faire, 3D Olympics and Innovation Oscar”.
